Castor Seed Conveyors & Bucket Elevators
Specially designed material handling systems to convey and elevate castor seeds efficiently through each stage of processing.
Castor Seed Expeller
Purpose-built expeller with castor-specific worm profile and cage bar geometry, optimised for castor seed's hard shell and high viscosity oil content.
Piston Pump
Positive-displacement piston pump — the only reliable technology to transfer high-viscosity crude castor oil between processing stages.
Centrifuge
Decanting centrifuge removes heavy sludge and solid impurities from crude castor oil, forming the first stage of clarification.
Filter Press or Pressure Leaf Filter
Second-stage fine filtration to remove residual solid particles, delivering clear and clean crude castor oil for refining.
Degumming Vessel
Removes phospholipids and gums from crude castor oil using hot water or acid degumming process, preparing the oil for further refining.
Neutralizing Vessel
Reduces Free Fatty Acids (FFA) in the degummed castor oil using alkali (NaOH) treatment, producing soap stock as a by-product.
Bleaching Vessel
Removes colour bodies and residual impurities from neutralised castor oil using bleaching earth under vacuum, giving a water-white final product.
